Year 2012 End of the World - What will happen?
There has been much interest in 2012 and the end of the world. Hollywood released a new blockbuster in 2009, titled 2012, based on the Mayan calendar ends abruptly on December 21, 2012. But what of this, and what does this mean for humanity?
This is a catastrophic outcome for the planet Earth or is simply the end of the world as we know it?
The Mayans predicted throughout our history, times of drought, flooding and political instability. The end of the calendar in the December 21, 2012 is believed to have two different interpretations.
One interpretation is that it will be a change in the human psyche and we will have a global spiritual change, where the Earth as we know it will cease to exist and a new Earth will take place in the racial divisions are no longer evident, and in the world Peace is possible.
The other line of thought away from a spiritual awakening in 2012, is that the Earth is in an apocalyptic situation and all life on Earth will be destroyed. Scientists have also explored this scenario, and a popular line of thought is that the north and south pole "flip" because the Earth is (for the first time in 25,000 years) fully in line with Ecuador Milky Ways. Earth and the Sun "wobbles" slightly due to the magnetic poles was interrupted and finally "flip" in which the North Pole is the South and vice versa.
Human life will not be able to survive in a dramatic course of events.
Information about the course of events that led to the December 2012 date given several warnings of the end of the world, most cited is not likely to survive a polar shift.
Other information states that there is a meteor that is "hidden" behind the sun is destined to collide with Earth at the same time.
